The New England Patriots beat the Indianapolis Colts 45-7 to win the American Football Conference championship at Gillette Stadium. After the game, the team is charged with using footballs with insufficient air pressure to help quarterback Tom Brady in his passing. The National Football League issues a 243-page report report on May 6, 2015 that is critical of the team and its star player. The Patriots are subsequently fined $1 million and deprived it of its next first round draft pick, and Brady is suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season.
