Davis (Thomas) is born in Brookline.
December 11, 1812
The son of Ebenezer Davis, Thomas Davis graduates from public schools, becomes a jeweler, and marries Sarah Jackson in 1825. Elected president of the Boston Temperance Society in 1837, he becomes a member of the Native American Party, serves in the Massachusetts House of Representatives (1841-42) and as mayor (1845). Davis dies in Brookline on November 22, 1845.*
