Congregation Mishkan Israel is established.

The congregation meets initially on Westville Street. It moves to 480 Geneva Avenue in 1901, and then to 137 Dakota Street. The building is sold for use as a church in 1977, and is later used by Pentecostal House of Prayer for All People.
