Commonwealth public housing development opens.

Originally Fidelis Way development, it is built on the on the former site of the Middlemas Brothers farm, the last farm in Brighton, at 35 Fidelis Way. Although listed as “integrated,” the initial residential population 97% white. The complex is subsequently renovated, but continues to provide affordable housing for all its residents.
