Church of Our Father (first) is built.
1835
Originally the East Boston Unitarian Society, it is located at the corner of Maverick Street and Bremen Street. The congregation had met previously in Ritchie Hall. Charles Andrews Farley is the first minister. The congregation moves to a new building (second) on Meridian Street in 1867,* and then another new building (third) on Marion Street in 1902. The congregation is dissolved in 1976.
