Channing Church is built.

Architect: Walter Atherton. Designed in the Gothic style, the church is located at 275 East Cottage Street. The congregation was established after the closing of the Unity Church in South Boston in October 1900 and met initially in Athenaeum Hall. Henry Hallam Saunderson is the first minister. The congregation is dissolved and the building becomes the home of Little House in 1946.
