Bryant and Stratton Commercial School is established.

Originally Bryant and Stratton Business Institute, it is founded by J.C. and H.B. Bryant and H.D. Stratton and subsequently located in 330 Boylston Street. It subsequently establishes satellite campuses in other cities. The Boston school closes in 1975 and merges with Mount Ida College Junior College in 1979.
