BPS Strong: A Salute to the Class of 2020 is held.

The pre-recorded virtual high school graduation ceremony, held due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, is streamed in English and Spanish on WCVB-TV. Former U.S. Education Secretary John King Jr. is the featured speaker. Mayor Marty Walsh reminds the 3,000 graduates of 36 schools, “The last class that knew what it was like was the class of 1918 . .. . [and] They went on to become what we now call the ‘Greatest Generation.'”
