Boston Red Sox make one of the worst trades in team history.

The Red Sox trade pitcher Albert “Sparky” Lyle to the Yankees for first baseman Danny Cater and minor league shortstop Mario Guerrero. Lyle goes on to become one the best relief pitchers in the American League, while Cater and Guerrero turn in mediocre performances.
