Boston Red Sox beat the Philadelphia Phillies 10-2 at Fenway Park.
June 12, 2010
In the game, Red Sox rookie outfielder Daniel Nava hits the first pitch in his first at bat in the major leagues for a grand slam home run, only the second player in major league history to accomplish the feat. Fortunately, Nava’s parents were there to see it. They had flown to Boston from California and were in such a hurry to get to Fenway Park that they left their luggage at Logan Airport.
