Boston Eruv is completed.

(Summer) Built by Jesse Hefter and others, its 26-square miles it covers parts of the Jewish communities of Boston (including Brighton-Allston, Fenway, Jamaica Plain, Roxbury and West Roxbury) , Brookline, and Newton. Construction began in the fall of 1984.
