The Celtics beat the Lakers 124-109 in game 6 at the Los Angeles Forum to win the team’s 10th NBA title. Earlier, the Celtics had beaten beat the Philadelphia 76ers 100-96 in game 7 at Philadelphia to win the Eastern Conference title, after trailing in the series 3 games to 1, on April 19, 1968.
