Massport officials participate in cruise around Boston Harbor aboard the Nautica. The local media is waiting as the boat returns to its dock, prompting Gidget Churchill, a 34-year old stunt actress, to bare her breasts to a Boston Herald photographer, and the story and photo appear in the newspaper the next day. Massport director Peter Blute resigns the day after that, but later charges he was “set up” by a Massport board member, who was to have also gone on the cruise but ultimately did not.
