Bay State Fishing Company introduces fishing trawlers to Boston Harbor.

[1906] The first steam fishing trawlers to operate in Boston Harbor, they drag nets along the ocean floor and have a longer range. Their use leads to Boston becoming the leading fresh fish port in the U.S.
