Baker (Walter) Chocolate Baker Mill (second) is built.

Architect: Winslow & Wetherell. Designed in the Romanesque Revival style and also known as the Baker Mill, it is located at 1245 Adams Street. More buildings are added to the 14-acre complex between 1897 and 1927. The mill is closed in 1965. Some buildings are converted to condominiums in 1983. The administration building is converted to lofts in 2002.* Other mill building lofts are completed in 2016.*
