Bacon (Smoki) is born in Brookline.

The daughter of Alfred and Ruth (Burns) Ginepra, Smoki Bacon graduates from Brookline High School and the Jackson Von Landau School of Design, marries Edwin Bacon in 1957, and, after his death, Richard Concannon in 1979. She lives at 91 Beacon Street, becomes active in civic and charitable causes, and is invariably described as a “Back Bay socialite. With Concannon, she hosts a salon, numerous parties, and a long-running cable television show, The Literati Scene. Bacon dies on December 27, 2019.
