Also known as The Fancy Ball, it is sponsored by the Copley Society (then the Boston Art Students’ Association) and held at the Museum of Fine Arts. The elegant costume party is described by the Saturday Evening Gazette as an event where “Bohemia and the Back Bay are to meet on common ground.”
