Arthur Lockwood wins the first Massachusetts Amateur Golf Tournament in Hamilton.

A member of the Allston Country Club, Lockwood wins the tournament at the Myopia Hunt Club. Lockwood wins it again at The Country Club in Brookline in 1905 and at Brae Burn Country Club in 1906.
