Archdiocese of Boston releases list of clerics publicly accused of sexual abuse of children.

The list includes the names of 157 priests and 2 deacons still living against whom complaints were brought going back as many as 70 years. It does not include the list of 91 priests who have since died, nor does it include the list of those who left the priesthood before being accused, or those from religious orders or other archdiocese accused of sexual abuse in the Boston area. The list is released at the request of the Massachusetts attorney general and attorneys for the victims.
