Angelo West, 41, is shot and killed by Boston police officers.

March 27, 2015

An African-American man, who had previously served time for shooting at police in 2001, West is killed after shooting Ptl. John Moynihan, 34, in the face after a traffic stop on Humboldt Avenue. The incident takes place shortly after a series of deadly shootings across the country of unarmed black men by police officers and only a few feet from the spot where Tiffany Moore, 12, was shot and killed by a stray bullet in August 1988.
