Submission Guidelines

Text

Entries should be no more than 250 words.  They should be written in a neutral tone and in short, fact-filled, declarative sentences that proceed chronologically.  Direct quotations should be attributed within the text.

Entries should be based on previously published work from reliable sources (books, periodicals, official or reputable websites).  These sources should be cited separately.

Submissions should be composed in Microsoft Word or a compatible program.

Images

Images should be JPEG files, with a resolution of at least 150 ppi and measuring at least 600 pixels wide.  Permission, use, and/or public domain status information should be provided.

Links

Suggested links should be those of reliable, local, non-profit organizations.
