The Bruins beat the Montreal Canadiens 5-4 at the Bell Centre in Montreal. During the season, the team sets National Hockey League records for wins (65) and points (135) in season. But after taking a 3 games to 1 lead in the first-round of the playoffs, they are upset by the Florida Panthers 4-3 in overtime in game 7 at the TD Garden on April 30, 2023 to end the season on a disappointing note.
