Lydia Edwards is elected to the Massachusetts Senate.

Edwards runs unopposed in the special election for the First Suffolk District, after winning the primary election against Anthony D’Ambrosino of Revere in the Democratic primary election on December 14, 2021. She is reelected in 2022.
