Thirteen candidates are elected to the Boston City Council.

Elected at-large are incumbents Michael Flaherty and Julia Mejia along with newcomers Ruthzee Louijeune and Erin Murphy. Elected to district seats are incumbents Ricardo Arroyo, Frank Baker, Kenzie Bok, Liz Breadon, Lydia Edwards, and Edward Flynn, and newcomers Tania Fernandes Anderson, Kendra Hicks, and Brian Worrell. Louijeune is the first Haitian-American elected to the council. Anderson, who is from Cape Verde, is the first Muslim, first African immigrant, and first formerly undocumented person elected to the council.
