Boston Latin students post YouTube video critical of the racial climate at the school.

January 18, 2016

[1/25] Created by seniors Meggie Noel and Kylie Webster-Château, the video blames the school for inaction in dealing with racist incidents at the school and comments on social media. The students form a group called BLS-BLACK (Black Leaders Aspiring for Change and Knowledge) and begin a campaign, which is subsequently supported by adult community leaders, that results in an investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice and in the resignation of headmaster Lynne Mooney Teta on June 21, 2016.
