Grisel Sanchez, 31, is shot and killed.

A resident of nearby Normandy Street and mother of three, Sanchez is struck by a stray bullet while walking with friends through Puddingstone Park. Two days later, Jeff Reyes, who grew up with Sanchez, says, “It’s sad you gotta get used to it, but it is what it is. It’s my neighborhood, I’m not going to stop coming to my neighborhood. I’m more open-minded to death. It doesn’t really bother me.”
