Southampton Street opens.

It is located at 112 Southampton Street. The 438-bed facility replaces one on Long Island that was closed when the bridge to the island was declared unsafe in October 2014. It opens initially on January 13, 2015 with 100 beds. The completed facility includes additional beds, a medical bay, recreations rooms, and offices.
