Jonathan Dos Santos, 16, is shot and killed.

June 10, 2015

Dos Santos is gunned down while riding his bicycle on Fuller Street. Three days later, two young men, 16 and 14, who are suspected of being involved, are turned into police by their mothers. After the funeral for Dos Santos is held at St. Peter’s Church in Dorchester on June 18, 2015, Rev. Richard Conway, says, “We have a ninth-grader hang himself down the street there. Right over here you have the 7-year-old kid shot. Upstairs in that house there’s a kid that’s in jail for shooting a 14-year-old. . . Behind that is a house where a 23, 24-year-old committed suicide. We’ve done the marches and we’ve done everything. It’s got to start at home.”
