The Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. Cornerback Malcolm Butler intercepts a Russell Wilson second-down pass at the Patriots 1-yard-line with 26 seconds left to win the game. The game draws 114.5 million viewers, the largest television audience for a single event in U.S. history. Despite a record accumulation of snow on the ground in Boston, victory parade attracts tens of thousands of fans to the downtown area on February 4, 2015.
