Binland Lee, 22, is killed in a house fire.

The Boston University student, one of a dozen or so students living in the house, was unable to get out of the single exit in her attic room in time to escape the flames. Her death prompts calls for tighter regulation and safety procedures for student housing in Brighton-Allston and other neighborhoods of Boston.
