Demonstration is held to protest the shooting death in Florida of Trayvon Martin

Some 200 people march past Boston Police Department Headquarters to protest the shooting death in Florida of Trayvon Martin The unarmed, African-American 17-year-old was shot by a resident of a gated community who had called police to report a “suspicious” person in the neighborhood, then followed the youth and shot him after he claimed Martin attacked him. Protesters carry signs which read: “Fight Racism” and “Modern American Lynching.”
