Thirteen candidates are elected to the Boston City Council.

They are (at large) Felix Arroyo, Michael Flaherty Jr., Stephen Murphy, Sam Yoon; (district) Rob Consalvo, James Kelly, Salvatore LaMattina, Jerry McDermott, Michael Ross, John Tobin Jr., Chuck Turner, Charles Yancey. Sam Yoon becomes the first Asian-American elected to city-wide office when he wins an at-large seat on the Boston City Council.
