Calderwood (Stanford) Pavilion is dedicated.

It is located at the Boston Center for the Arts. Supported by the Calderwood Charitable Trust, the building contains the first two new theaters to be built in Boston in 75 years. The 360-seat Virginia Wimberly Theatre opens with the world premiere production of Melinda Lopez’s Sonia Flew on October 8, 2004. The 99-seat Nancy and Edward Roberts Black Box Theatre opens with a production of Stephen Sondheim’s Company on October 15, 2004.
