Boston Pilot School opens.

(Sept.) Architect: Drummey, Roseanne & Anderson. It is located at 270 Columbia Road. It is one of three new schools to open this year, the first new public schools built in Boston since 1978, and the first in these neighborhoods in more 50 years.
