Ray Bourque is traded by the Boston Bruins.

At his request, the 21-year-Bruin is traded to the Colorado Avalanche, along with Dave Andreychuckis, for Brian Rolston, Sami Pahlsson, Martin Grenier, and a first round draft pick. Bourque helps Colorado win the Stanley Cup a year later and, to show is appreciation to Boston, returns to show it to his fans here.
