West Concord public housing development opens.

(Dec.) It is located at 94 West Newton Street. The development includes the historic Albemarle and Chatham Hotels and 26 two-family duplex and two single-family homes on lots in Roxbury and Dorchester. The project was redeveloped by four local Community Development Corporations.
