Aids Action Committee is established.

November 30, 1982

(Nov.) An outgrowth of two public forums held at the Fenway Community Health Center, it is founded by Larry Kessler and John Stein, adopts its current name on February 16, 1983, and is incorporated in 1986. Kessler is the first executive director. The organization subsequently moves to 131 Clarendon Street, reunites with the Fenway Health Center in 2013, and is currently located at 75 Amory Street.
