Not the Boston Globe is published.

1981

A parody published by Lawrence Durocher, its first and only edition features a front-page headline that reads “Reagan Still Asleep,” a “Spotlite” investigative story on a stolen shipment of ice cream Jimmies washing up on Carson Beach, and a faux article/obituary of Boston Globe cartoonist Paul Szep that describes his body being found in a 55-gallon drum of fabric softener in a Brighton laundromat.
