Sonny Walker’s opens.

Originally the C&S Tavern, it is operated by Charles Canada and Sonny Walker and located at 380 Warren Street. The second bar owned by the pair of former barbers (they had opened their first in 1969), it comes to be called the “Black Cheers.” Walker’s children subsequently operate the bar, which they rename for their father in 2013. The bar closes on April 1, 2018.
