Flynn (Raymond L.) Marine Park opens.
1977
[1976] Originally the Boston Marine Industrial Park, it is operated by the city and located on the former site of the Boston Army Base and Naval Annex at 21 – 25 Drydock Avenue. Regulations are subsequently enacted reserving 74% for maritime industrial use, 22% for other industrial use, and 4% for commercial use. It is renamed for the former Boston mayor on November 12, 2016.
