Jack Fultz (2:20:19) and Kim Merrit (2:47:10) are the winners of the Boston Marathon.

Fultz, a student at Georgetown University, defeats much more well-known runners to win the race. The temperature on the course reaches 96 degrees in some places and this year’s race comes to called the “Run for the Hoses.”
