Bromfield Gallery is established.

It is located at 30 Bromfield Street. The gallery, which focuses on contemporary art, subsequently moves to a number of other locations. It closes in the 1990s. A new Bromfield Gallery, operated by many of the same people, is subsequently established at 11 Thayer Street.
