Mattapan Community Health Center is established.

Originally the Avenue Neighborhood Health Center, it is located at 1295 Blue Hill Avenue. An outgrowth of the Boston Family Planning Project of Action for Boston Community Development, it moves to 1425 Blue Hill Avenue in February 1980.
