Springsteen and his E Street Band open for Bonnie Raitt at the Harvard Square Theater. After that performance, Real Paper music critic Jon Landau (and future Springsteen manager) writes, “I saw rock and roll future and its name is Bruce Springsteen” on May 22, 1974.
