Bromley-Heath Tenant Management Corporation is named to manage the housing development.

The Boston Housing Authority board approves the move by a 3 to 2 margin at a meeting at the Bromley-Heath Community Center at 10 Lamartine Street. The first tenants group to manage a public housing development in the U.S., the organization was founded by Anna Mae Cole and Mildred Hailey in 1968 and incorporated in February 1971.
