Salem Street Hardware opens.

Formerly Resnick Hardware, it is operated by Ilene Rothman and her son Dave and located at 89 Salem Street. The store joins the True Value cooperative in 1982, and is subsequently run by Ilene’s grandson and Dave sons, Ken, who plans to close the store in early 2016.
