Houghton Tank Farm tanks are painted.

(ca.) Some 30 tanks belonging to the Houghton Chemical Company, they are located near 52 Cambridge Street. In the 1960s, a committee of employees selected the various colors for the tanks, which hold from 2,000 to 30,000 gallons.
