Bay State College is established.

Founded to serve the airlines industry, the school is located initially at 122 Commonwealth Avenue. It moves to its current location at 31 St. James Avenue in 1961. The school is accredited to grant associate degrees in 1975, but loses its accreditation and closes in August 2023.
