The American League beats the National League 12-0 in the first All Star Game played at Fenway Park. Williams has four hits, scores four runs, and bats in five, and hits two home runs, the second in the ninth inning off one of Pittsburgh Pirate pitcher Truett “Rip” Sewell’s “eephus” pitches.
