Frederico’s Bicycle Shop opens.

Operated by Charlie Frederico, it is located at 126 Emerson Street. The shop is subsequently operated by Charlie Federico Jr., assisted by Lewis Smith, who become known not only for their skill at repairing bikes but for teaching kids how to fix their own bikes. It continues today.
